Morgan Freeman recently took an interview alongside Michael Cain for their new film Now You See Me as an opportunity to get some Zzzzz’s. Or so we thought. The actor posted a valid excuse for the photo of his eyes wide shut on his Facebook page last night: “Regarding my recent interview, I wasn’t actually sleeping. I am a beta tester for Google Eyelids and I was merely taking the opportunity to update my Facebook page.” Obviously!!!

For a cup of hot tea, all you need to do is tear off one of the days and place the wafer-thin piece packed with tea leaves into hot water to steep. Currently, the item is only for the company’s business partners, but we would love to get our hands on it too!

Kanye may still sit on rap’s throne but one of the freshest faces on G.O.O.D. Music (Kanye’s label) Travi$ Scott is sounding like the next big thing to hit the rap world. Scott’s new mixtape, Owl Pharaoh, is the best rap album to come out yet this year and it’s a free giveaway. I can’t get enough and hope he is heavily featured on Kanye’s upcoming album.

Since Steve Wilhite, the creator of the Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) announced at the Webby Awards on Tuesday that “gif” is actually pronounced “jif,” there has been an avalanche of hilarious debates and memes spreading across the web. Well, the original Jif has finally weighed in on the discussion with their own jif gif straight from the peanut butter maker’s Twitter HQ. Guess that settles it then! How do you pronounce it?

June 18th will be a fierce day for music with the release of Kanye West’s album Yeezus and now J. Cole’s album Born Sinner. Cole moved his album drop date up a week after Kanye tweeted the date of his release, wanting to directly compete with his idol. Cole was quoted, “I’m not going to sit [here]… I worked too hard to come a week later after Kanye West drops an amazing album. It’d be like, ‘Oh and J. Cole dropped too, a week later.’ Nah. I’m going to go see him on that date. He’s the greatest. So it’s like, I’m a competitor by nature so it was instant, it wasn’t even a thought.” Mark your calendars!

This ad for Netflix rings a bell for many of us, as Netflix cheating has officially become a big problem. Equally funny and true, the phenomenon comes from the fact that it’s just much harder to wait than it is to watch ahead and face the guilt.

Last night, we attended a tasting event featuring the new menu coming soon to Stefan’s at LA Farm. Chilled cucumber soup, animal-style sliders, truffle arancini (amazing!) and oysters with absinthe jello were among the most memorable offerings, and we washed everything down Stefan’s infamous—yet delectable—”SMD” martinis. To top off the fine food, we chatted with the Top Chef personality himself and immediately saw how his fun, entrepreneurial spirit translated into his food. If you’re in the area, check it out! We can’t wait to see what he does next!
