Here comes the bride, all dressed in…black?  Vera Wang, along with a host of her contemporaries, churned out bridal garb for Fall 2012 that plain assaulted the puff-pastry princess gown.  Wang went for the goth look, Monique Lhuillier did provocative slits, Carolina Herrera did jackets, Marchesa took the hemline above the knee, and Theia Bridal showcased pants.  We predicted that bridal wear would be taking a turn for the nontraditional and more colorful and I must say, I’m liking the sartorial diversion from a one-size-fits-all bride.
