Love, hate, love to hate, or hate to love the Kardashians (full disclosure: I’m the latter), this Saturday’s SNL skit nailed the families dynamics and even the staging and costuming of the Fairytale Wedding of Kim and Kris. What is interesting about the whole divorce scandal—that Yes, everyone is Still talking about—is how angry some groups seem to be about the brevity of the gossip mag darling’s nuptials. Whether it’s the current climate about marriage and divorce and this generation’s strong feelings against ending a marriage needlessly or the oft cited “really, this is how sacred straight marriage is?” argument, the KK divorce has truly struck an annoying chord with the nation.
