Jewelry designer Philip Crangi has teamed up with the creators of Ethos Water, Peter Thum and John Zapolski, to create Fonderie 47, a company that aims to reduce Africa’s 20 million assault weapons by turning the guns’ metal into jewelry. The endeavor has already helped remove more than 5000 AK-47s from the Congo.
