It’s no secret that in recent years, social networking has been utilized for major political uprising (remember the Arab Spring? Occupy?). Recently, an increasing number of social networks have been dedicated for social gathering directed towards a lighter cause, but valuable nevertheless: sustainability! This time, Finland-based social network Brickstarter, coined “kick-starter of neighborhood projects”, “enables everyday people, using everyday technology and culture, to articulate and progress sustainable ideas about their community.”
