Just because elementary school is over doesn’t mean our obsession with Lisa Frank has to be! A recent article in The Daily revealed that Frank’s appeal has not waned with a new generation of schoolgirls, who still gravitate to her wild illustrations. While the technicolor designer still maintains her lines of rainbow animal-covered school supplies and a recently launched clothing line, she recognizes that the times they are a-changing. Even fans of neon-colored panda bears and dolphins have gone digital—and so the brand is introducing an app. Perfectly suited for young tech-savvy fans and nostalgic kids of the ‘90s alike, Pic n’ Share allows users to “stick” images of Frank’s signature rainbow balloons, tigers, and ballerina bunnies onto their digital photos. Once a pictured is “Franked” it can then be shared with friends.
